When ever you log on to an account or website it can be seen again from the computer like footprints. Other people could send it out to other to see. Anyone can track down what you look up on the internet. What every you do or say can be broadcasted through Facebook, Youtube, and Myspace.
Digital citizenship means that you respect others on their opinions even if you disagree with them. You try to help them and be respectful of what you put online. you do not spread rumors about them.
You stay away from other people accounts and you wouldn't spread or post anything about them that they would feel uncomfortable about it. You respect them for what they post and don't give out anymore information about it that they didn't include.
You would try to take over their account and change the password and mess with the persons profile by changing it or/and giving out even more information about the person. You would say rude things to put the person down.
Assignment: DigiTeen Introduction
After reading some introductions from other students in the project:
1. Look at the rubric so that you will know how the introduction will be graded (advanced is worth the most points, beginning is worth the least points).
2. Write 5 - 10 (or more) sentences to introduce yourself.
3. Pay particular attention to correct spelling, capitalization and punctuation - this is SCHOOL WRITING, not TEXT writing.
My name is Mitchelle and I'm 11 yrs. old. I go to West Middle School in Anamosa. I'm in 7th Grade. I have 1 brother Logan, 1/2 Brother Aydan and a stepbrother Colton. My parents are divorsed and I live with my mom. I visit my dad every other weekend and he lives in Scotch Grove on a farm. He raises chickens, horses, and he used to raise calves. My grandfather, Larry, died of cancer in 2009. Larry is my dad's father. My dad remarried and now my stepmom and I, never really ever get along.
I like to ride my bike with my best friends after school and spend the night at their or my house on the weekends. I have several friends at school and they all treat me with respect. One of my best friends is Alex C.
